  Worst restaurant I've eaten in in America. I'm from Australia and generally find eating out here great. But Cavagnaros restaurant was overall a very disappointing experience. Firstly the womens restroom was dark, filthy and rundown. Myself and my partner had to wait a long time to be seated. Finally sat down and there was only one menu, the waitress said "I'll go get you another one" so she proceeds to go to another table of about 8 guests and take their orders which took a long time. Finally we get our meals. I ordered the Tequila chicken, baked potato, green beans and Texas toast. The chicken was dry and tasted burnt and bitter. Potato was hard inside. The only nice food item was the toast. My partners steak was tender but tasted 'like propane gas'
  The table and menu was sticky. The service also left alot to be desired. When we were finished our meal, we sat at our table for a long time waiting for the check, while the waitresses stood and talked to each other while looking right at us. I even stood up and waited by the table to try and get someone to come give us the check. It was not a busy night, restaurant wasn't even half full.
  We paid a little above average price for our meals.
  I would suggest this restaurant undertake a desperately needed renovation as it is dirty and very rundown. Also the staff need training in how to wait tables and the food certainly needs alot of improvement.
  I realize this is a family style steakhouse but it still needs to be clean, in good repair, and the food should be enjoyable and service of a certain standard.
  We will never go back to this restaurant or recommend it to family/friends.
